Loan Acquisition
I had a few options here... loan in two players, buy another player, hold my money until January, or loan in one big player.
Hope is a scorer, pure and simple, at least he'd better be at this level. Compared to Armstrong when we brought him in last year, Hope is faster, positions better, is a better finisher, can shoot from distance and has an incredibly powerful shot for this level, no one I've seen comes close to that 80 from him.
He lacks dribbling, passing, and agility compared to Armstrong from last year.
Hope comes to us for the year from Everton. He makes $9,000/wk. So that's our big signing, and we're done for the year unless we sell someone else. I believe if we do it right, Hope can lead League 2 in goals this season.
