Back to league play, with a comfortable victory away to Arbroath. We were outshot, 13-7, and Arbroath had possession 57% of the time, but Arbroath had only one good scoring chance, and Craig Robertson made a sweet save to thwart it.
Andrzej Gajda was Man of the Match, as much for his dominant play in the air (13 headers won in 13 challenges) as for his two goals. Captain Steven Noble played well in midfield.
Sixteen-year-old striker Robert Murch made his first appearance for the senior team, coming on as a sub at 58 minutes. He looked secure with the ball, and I'm going to try to find a way to get him some additional time very soon. I don't want him becoming frustrated and wanting to leave because he's not getting any first team football.
We have two days off before we're back in action, away to Peterhead. We'll go into that match top of the table, with 15 points to St. Johnstone's 14.
