The 2017 NFL Amateur Draft

The first three picks are the Qbs

Then the top ILB goes to the Rams.

The top OT< who looks like a pure stud, doesn’t go until 1.14 to the Cowboys. I suspect that could be a steal.

Our turn.

The best TE is still on the board, and we interviewed him, hoping that would be an awesome pick, since he has good scores and bars 0 but he comes back very overrated. Sad face. Sorry TE Kendall Metcalf!

What else fits here?

I like Melvin Robinson, the top MLB on the board, so I grab him.

Red, top of the line combine score in agility, (7.30, faster than any other by far), and then he’s blue combine marks (smart 6th smartest ILB with a 37 score) dash, and strength. Bars are fine too. Not a good pass rusher or bump and run, both otherwise he’s fine.

Round two arrives and one of my Cbs is still here. I take CB Shane Hopkins

Round three? Nobody is left that I scouted. So, I’m sort of gambling from here on out.

I take a Qb late with solid bars, red dash (4.44 40), blue strength (13) and position drills (79) just as a flyer.

I also take a TE with great combine numbers and awful bars late too.

I don’t like it already. We’ll see how it looks post-draft though!
