Are any of you keeping up with the updates on the shooting in Chapel Hill? One of the victims was a classmate of my sister. It's surprising to me, but even from a great distance, it's a difficult event for me to try to comprehend/cope with. I can only hope she's doing better.
(This is approaching seven years after another prominent murder in Chapel Hill. That time, Eve was a classmate of mine. Strange and sad that this is a recurrent phenomenon in a community that is typically idyllic.)
