They really need to focus on quality or they're going to push people to the point where $60 releases are something that people don't even consider buying. They're so focused on a full plan of game -> patch -> multiple DLC that they've totally lost focus on just making a good game on release. It's the reason the independent gaming segment has become popular. Often, the indie games are more polished in beta than AAA console titles are on release.

I totally agree. Currently no way no how I am paying $60 unless it has a ton of reviews from reputable honest reviewers first. Preorder no chance.
