Royals are a bunch of bitches. I don't think Lawrie meant to hurt anyone. That hard slide happens about 30% of the time with somebody miscalculating or trying to push the line. I have seen it too many times and it's silly. That being said, all he did was apologize repeatedly and take a beaning. Meanwhile, every Royals pitcher and coach has taken it to bitch levels. It's going to be a long season if they can't start acting like they've been there before (because they actually have now). Fans too.
