Retirements:
We have three – DT Grossman, CB Shane Hopkins, and OT Bryce Talaridou
Both Hopkins and Grossman were with us their entire career, from wonb to tomb! Thanks for your work
Hopkins was never a major player. He finishes with 36 picks, and 102 passes defensed. He had one All-Pro season in 2019.
He does retire 1st in our record books for picks in a career, and 1st in tackles, passes defensed, and so forth. I expect our safety tandem to blow those records away though.
Again, Grossman was never that stud who would nail you a bajillion sacks or anything, but he retires with 48 sacks, 13 blcoked passes, 70 hurries, 36 QB knockdowns, and and a nice lineage at DT for us.
