SLB Wilkerson – We traded up in the 2nd round of the 2023 draft to grab him. He never missed a game:
160 starts, 667 tackles, 188 assists, 22.5 sacks, 2 blocked passes, 23 hurries, 13 QBKD, 5 picks, 70 passes defensed, 14 forced fumbles, 6 recovered
Always a rock, but never reached All Pro. 2 championship rings and the undefeated season he started last year.
Other retirements of note:
QB CJ Ellison, retires as legend of th game, was the best QB for a while in the league, made Baltimore, won Super Bowls, etc.
RB Kendrick Gaston – former 7th rounder and a starter for us., Retired after not getting rushes in Denver’s system.
LG Mike Statler – 4 time All Pro
LT Benjamin Givens – 3 time All Pro
LT Harvey Carpenter- 6 time all pro, 2nd round selection by Chiefs, played whole career for them.Exoect to see him in a bronze cast in Canton soon
P Daquan Shea – 4 All Pro
WILB Buddy DOub – Former Def. Rookie of the Year (2020) and All Pro 1sst Team.
SLB Tim Kaeding, 2025 Defensive Player of the Year, 4 time All Pro , probable Canton guy
SS Jamal Crigger, Won Super Bowl winner with Houston, spent whole career there, from WVU, 2024 Defensive Player of the Year, 7 time all pro,
Crigger is a lock for HOF, and Kaeding and Carpenter strong probables.
