I agree with this statement. With the 360 compatibility program, a lot of the original Xbox games that I wanted to play were never made compatible. Hopefully it will be different this time. I doubt it though.
In the end pretty much the only games I would want to dig into are the RPG's that I haven't finished, those usually age pretty well. I'll stick with current gen consoles for FPS and stuff where the eye candy is 60% of the experience.
