The other thing is (and I love Uber and use it regularly) a friend had the unbelievably bad luck to be involved in an accident while riding in an Uber ride. He was fine but we got to thinking and looking and it looks like had that have been either of us driving he would not have been covered by insurance in SC because we dont have "for fee" coverage...
Not sure if Uber adds in coverage here or not, and granted its a pretty rare sequence of events, but food for thought.
