I don't know that I've really perceived it that way, at least not since the end of the Monday Night Wars.
I think there's a lot of "oh that's just an inferior product" vibe about anyone/everyone else but I don't know that it felt directed at the wrestlers so much as toward the overall packaging/presentation.
