But Fox is still giving us scrolls and breathless updates telling us that they will fix it as soon as they can. Like FOX honestly believed that there is a subset of fans out there who tuned in to watch the World Series who didn't actually care about the game, but were instead much more concerned about getting to listen to Joe Buck talk about the game.
Other than the immediate relatives of the guys in the booth and the folks who paid for in-game promos, I have a hard time thinking of whoever else would have noticed or cared once the game re-started.

Most of the people here were thrilled when Matt V. was the one announcing when the feed came back on. It was almost comical when Joe Buck and the crew came trouncing into the MLB booth to continue announcing the game. If I was Matt V. and I knew the situation, I would have accidentally locked the booth door.
