Not really, but there's a few reasons it makes sense. It's the only 5-round fight for a undisputed championship on the card, and they like to have those last. And it would be kind of strange if the person standing tall at the end of their biggest show was either a guy who isn't under contract beyond this fight or a 42-year old heavyweight who isn't a top contender anymore. And the women's bantamweight division is becoming a bigger deal, the winner of Nunes/Tate is likely to face Rousey later this year, and there's speculation that Rousey will be in Vegas to plant seeds for that (since her boyfriend his fighting on the main card too.) And Tate and Nunes both usually have exciting fights - Hunt/Lesnar could be quick, or just boring if both guys gas early.

Cormier/Anderson or Aldo/Edgar could have main evented too. I don't think the order matters too much, it's really just up to luck how the night goes and whether it feels like momentum is building throughout. It's probably the sign of a compelling card that 4 of 5 fights could arguably main event it, and almost every fight down through the Fight Pass prelmins could probably main event or co-main event a Fight Night show.
