Canon and Unchained Melody did come to mind for me, though I don't personally rank them that high among my favorites.
Perhaps different choices, but songs I could get lost in:
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy - Cannonball Adderly
River Deep -- Mountain High - Ike & Tina Turner
I get hit pretty hard by that Wall of Sound in the second one. Beauty isn't always ethereal.
