General Update - Bailey

Bailey met with the doctor to go over the results of her stress test, and here is what he said:

"Your heart is in great shape, in fact you are currently operating on a physical level even with professional cyclists and marathon runners. The typical person scores around a 52 on the test we put you through, you scored 146, which is the best I've ever personally seen in all my years of doing this."

He went on to tell her she really should wear compression socks, drink lots of water, and he urged her to take salt tablets 3 times a day. After Bailey did some research, and the salt tablets were almost a problem, she read somewhere that they can cause you to again weight (water weight obviously), and she was convinced they would make her fat. After talking her off the ledge, she's been taking the pills regularly and she's pushing close to 4 liters of water a day. The results, at least initially, appear to indicate this treatment might help. In the 3 days she's been doing this, she's appeared to have more energy, she hasn't complained about headaches (which was common and according to our research potentially related to her circulation issues), and she seems happier. Fingers crossed this continues and maybe it will carry over to the pool and she can get back to dropping time.
