I think it's a little too early to write him off - kid is officially the youngest to ever record a triple double in NBA history, and we have huge issues with Small Sample Size to this point.
I think eventually you CAN develop a shot in the NBA, and he will definitely grow a bit and add muscle, as RainMaker said. That being said, his shot really is super terrible right now, and he has a long, long way to go.
