Texas- 9, Baltimore- 4 -- The Rangers jumped on Baltimore starter Brian Matusz for 7 runs in the first 2 innings. Baltimore got 3 back in the bottom of the 2nd, then reliever Tommy Hunter gave the Orioles 5 2/3 innings of strong pitching, but it wasn't enough. The bats slowed down for both teams. Adrian Beltre had 2 homers and 5 RBIs in the game for Texas. The game was marred by injuries though, as David Bush left in the bottom of the 5th due to injury, David Murphy was injured in the bottom of the 2nd, and Beltre was injured in the bottom of the 9th. Tough blow for the Rangers.
