2026 Selection Sunday

St. John's gets the #1 seed in the NCAA West Region and will open up against 16th seed Youngstown State.

UCLA gets the 5th seed in the NCAA West Region and will open up against 12th seed Iowa State.

FIU gets the 5th seed in the NCAA Midwest Region and will open up against 12th seed Green Bay.

San Jose State gets the 15th seed in the NCAA Midwest Region and will open up against 2nd seed Wisconsin, looking to keep their Cinderella streak alive.

Stanford gets the 3rd seed in the NCAA Midwest Region and will open up against a former conference foe in 14th seed USC (who now plays in the WCC, remember I have limited conference movement turned on).

Alabama is back in the NCAA Tournament after a 1 year layoff, getting the 3rd seed in the NCAA South Region. They'll open up against 14th seed Marist.

Wagner gets a bit disrespected in their first trip to the NCAA Tournament, as they get the 13th seed in the NCAA East Region. They'll open up against 4th seed Oklahoma State.

Northwestern gets the 2nd seed in the NCAA East Region. They'll open up against 15th seed UMass Lowell.

Troy gets the 4th seed in the NIT West Region and will open up by hosting 5th seed Fresno State.

Fairfield gets the 5th seed in the NIT Midwest Region and will open up by travelling to 4th seed Eastern Illinois.

Sacramento State gets the 8th seed in the NIT South Region and will open up by hosting 9th seed Lehigh, with the winner going to top seed Southern Miss. (Remember, I bumped the NIT back up to 40 teams in an effort to get more of our FOFC teams postseason play.

11 of our teams make the postseason this season, much better than last years effort. We have several contenders to win the NCAA Tournament. St. John's has the only NCAA Tournament Title of our FOFC coaches, but UCLA has been the bridesmaid twice. The postseason will be simmed probably on Monday.
