The simple point I was making is - the argument against them for where they were placed is the exact argument used to promote a team the next year into the playoff. Translation: we make it up as we go based on who we think is the best and we will use whatever facts or stats we want to justify the outcome. Yes, you claim that "ESPN" made up a stat, not saying what the stat was. And that they used that same stat the next year to put a team in, not remembering who or even if it's the right year.
