I will say that the start of S3 (I think we're two eps in maybe?) so far feels like they either had a show runner or some writers leave after S2. The convoluted nature of the plot may have reached a tipping point into ridiculousness and some of the character behaviors/actions/reactions feel like they're out of synch with what we were taught about them in S1 and S2

Given how often we seem to see that happen (though this is a bit soon considering the low number of episodes they do per year) I'm wondering if the sweet spot for shows in general these days may not be in the 1-2 year or even one-off range.
