For future reference, I think the person who posted a link that breaks a forum can fix it by following these steps:

Although a broken link won't have any edit/quote buttons it will still have a link to it's number within the thread, which will also display it's unique post ID as part of the URL generated by clicking on that number. That post ID is displayed between "p=" and an ampersand, within the URL generated by clicking/hovering on that post's number within the thread:





Now that you have the Post ID # you can insert that into the URL to edit a post. Copy the below link in the quotation marks and append the Post ID # to the end of the URL, after the "p=":

"https://forums.operationsports.com/fofc/editpost.php?do=editpost&p="

(e.g "https://forums.operationsports.com/fofc/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=3242029" to edit the post in the image above)


Entering that URL into your browser should take you to the edit page for the post in question and allow you to modify the offending content, or delete the post entirely.
