So I was watching the other Fyre festival documentary (the Hulu one), and they kept talking about the importance of Kendall Jenner to this thing and how she was paid $250k to make one Instagram post.

I didn't really know who that was or why she was so important, so I looked her up on Wikipedia. Turns out her middle name is Nicole, as she's named after Nicole Brown Simpson, who was her mother's best friend. Then I thought - wait a minute - doesn't Kendell Jenner have something to do with the Kardashians too, the patriarch of whom was of course OJ's buddy and lawyer?

I paused the documentary and went upstairs so my girlfriend could explain. Yes, Robert Kardashian, who had a "secret OJ evidence room" in his home office when his daughters were growing up, divorced his wife, and then OJ murdered this ex-wife's best friend. (If you believe such things). That must be awkward at family gatherings. Maybe everybody knows this. For me, it was the most time I'll ever, and will ever, reflect about the Kardashians, and I must admit, I was briefly compelled.
