Don't do the island hopping thing unless you are staying overnight. We did get caught in a tropical storm at Pearl Harbor which didn't help, but when you are only staying for 5 days and one of them involves you leaving your beautiful resort to get on a flight at the crack of dawn, and then having to get another flight back late in the evening, it makes for very grumpy travelers. I wasn't very popular for putting that together, even if it was a bucket list item personally.
