I just watched the first episode and was curious about some things. So I looked up the episode recap to see if it could clewr anything up. It was ONLY there in the recap that it suggested the two primary stories were at different time periods.
So, through sheer luck, I will seemingly avoid your frustration. I would have been similarly nonplussed.
I did like the first episode. Looking forward to the rest.
