I understand the timelines were confusing. I was confused a few times and thought certain scenes with characters who were already dead or much older when we saw them first were just dreams or had ghosts in them, but I eventually caught on.

To me, it really captured how I felt playing Witcher 2 & 3. I had a blast playing them, loved the world and everything, but only understood about 75% or so of what was ever happening at any moment.
