Okay, late free agency wrapped.
Biggest news is that we let RB Rick Gilmore walk. I must have miscalculated my cap space, or the order in which things happened - and my offer got rejected for lack of cap space. Ugh. So, he's gone, and we will have two guys only a click or two better than hobos toting the rock. Can't believe I blew it so badly for "the big year" here.
Looks like the cap culprit is WR/PR Ramon Matthews. Nice to have him, and he's been a good return man for us. But not wild about going without a single legitimate asset at RB.
Annoying. No real twists in the training camp stage, I'm tryna grab one more option at RB, but that's about it. Playbook remains the same as last year.
