So, Chas, what now? I will presumably make a run at re-signing Teddy Tightends, to have continuity at QB. We have a decent roster around him, with outstanding chemistry, cohesion, and special teams. It feels like the right play here is just to ride it out... right?
Our only retirement is CB Metzenbaum, and he was a marginal contributor last season anyway - basically a CB5/6 gunner.
So... if we can sign Teddy, G Darby, and most of the other guys we let walk out into free agency, I can basically take another swing at it with this same team. Maybe we draft a RB to plug and play? (Maybe dump our later draft picks, as has become my usual move)
Any reason to tear this down now?
