Nope. I am still registered to vote in South Carolina. I moved from there on 8/1/2014. I just checked a moment ago to verity, and I'm still a registered voter there. I don't recall if SC has voter ID laws, but if not, any of my neighbors who knew where I used to live could claim to be me and vote in my name. Or perhaps I could get an absentee ballot. But they'd be risking a felony over one vote.
And in 2016, I checked and was still registered in DeKalb County. I moved from there in 2006. At some point in the last four years they finally removed my registration. I don't know when.
