One risk of doing that is getting tax departments involved in terms of where you live. Lying about residency in terms of taxes is a serious problem.
I'm sure there are a small number of voter fraud cases, we find a few every cycle, but there's no evidence of even hundreds of cases, so certainly nothing like the millions GOPers sometimes claim.
