Instapot: The rice and beans miracle machine.

It can do a decent job on frozen meat that you don't want to take the time to defrost, too, but I prefer to take my time and make meat well. Some people try to make whole meals in it ... not my thing. Too hit and miss, too little control.

But seriously, rice ... done and beautiful. Dried beans ... add a little onion and garlic to the instapot ... SO much better than those canned things (and WAY cheaper).
