W1G2 Montreal at Edmonton
Montreal brings a heavily re-tooled team into Edmonton. They’ll be counting on their upgraded running game to “hide” the weak arm of their new QB Loraine Boyd. Edmonton’s all-female offensive line got stronger in the off-season, with Markhetta Porthen being among the best in the league. They’ll hope that their switch to a pass heavy offence lights a spark for them.

Rookie HB Jeremy Foland romps for 15 zones on 8 carries and FA DB acquisition Alice Hibbs adds a pair of pass stops to lead Montreal to a convincing first win.
