The "asshat" rule was put in place after years of running this place, and finally coming to the realization that it was 100% impossible to try to outline every type of douchebaggery that could lead to a person needing to be tossed. No matter how big or small the internet venue, there is going to be some subjectivity in these decision. It's just the nature of the beast.
