This was a battle between two elite players, as Hartford's Russell Herbst scores 32 points against the 35 points scored by Kentucky's David Holmes. Hartford had a halftime lead, but the Wildcats pulled ahead midway through the 2nd half. One problem for Hartford is their inability to get to the free throw line. They actually didn't shoot a single free throw for the entire game. Meanwhile, Kentucky shot 42!!!! Power 5 conference bias???!!!! The Hawks laid it on the line, but came up short.
