Anybody interested in oddball horror should check out BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR.
It's a little bit insane, but in a good way. Catherine Keener is great in it, but somehow outshined by Rosa Salazar. If anyone saw the Amazon series, UNDONE (the rotoscoped series that had Bob Odenkirk in it), this is the same female lead of that. She was great in that, maybe even better here.
It is not totally unlike UNDONE, in that it's a pretty nuts premise, but the show reminds me more of something like NEON DEMON (the Nicolas Winding Refn movie) than anything else, but it's a lot more engaging than a Refn movie.
Check it out. If episode 1 is too weird for you, then you can get out easily.
