I think you might be surprised as I have been by those who have cleaning ladies or hire cleaning services. The cost is comparable to what lungs mentioned so it is accessible to most. I know college kids who have a cleaning service come through their house for about $150 every two weeks. Stuff like washing the windows, cleaning the oven, etc. If I am being honest, the main reason I have never thought about getting one is because I know my wife would spend days cleaning the house before the cleaning lady showed up.
