That's true. Lincoln Riley doesn't run an Air Raid offense, he runs an RPO offense that uses the run to set up the pass. With this year being an exception, OU averaged over 200 rushing yards per game during his time there (they only averaged 176 YPG this year). He also slowed the tempo down, which in turn helped out defensive coordinator Alex Grinch to make some modest improvements to OU's atrocious defense.
