We visited daughter and had dinner for her birthday. She just took her last exams, all A's except for one B, enough to keep her Zell scholarship. But she is in no hurry to leave her apt and come back home (about 60 min away with some traffic).

She still has her quirks and all, but I can see how she has matured some. College has been good for her to grow and expand. She is really into her major, lots of practical hands on vs book reading.

She wants to get a tattoo(s). We had previously spoken about this last year and we re-agreed - nothing on face, nothing big that would be exposed with short sleeve, and nothing that she would regret in the future (e.g. I love x-person). Not that we could stop her but good that we kinda compromised.

She is 180 from my son for personality and interests. Funny how that works out.
