I don't know if it would have made a difference since the gunman was not confronted for 40-50+ minutes but didn't know about inability to lock classroom doors?
I know at my wife's school, she does have doors that lock. She said she was told not to unlock the door during an active shooter event even if there were kids outside banging to get in.
I couldn't imagine having to make that choice.
