This isn't going to stick. It's the DeSantis playbook. Do something you know won't stick but make sure it's heavily publicized so your supporters know you're as fascist as they want you to be.
What's likely going to happen is it's ruled that what the attorney said is protected political speech since he has had zero cases brought before him concerning what he said he will not prosecute. So he hasn't "neglected to do his duty" in any way.
