Sorry man, out of everything you wrote, this hits as the closest to how you're actually feeling about the trip. Anytime you spend that kind of money, and plan for something so big, and have the highest of hopes for your kids and your family it's really, really hard to live up to. The two year break was really hard with their ages too. I hope you can find something positive to really take out of it and bring it home with good feelings all around.
