Yeah that feels like too much of an attempt to manufacture the drama. Uruguay had 45 minutes to increase their goal difference to insure their progression to the knockouts.
Let's be honest. I would not put it pass Luis Suarez to fake a catastrophic knee injury for 25 minutes in order to make sure that Uruguay had extra time to see what was required to make it through.
