I have no idea why anyone with other options would choose to coach college football right now. The argument for it was you didn't have to deal with millionaires with contracts and egos.

Now college football has teenage millionaires without contracts that can change teams more or less whenever they like. You have to recruit high school and jucos, help arrange NIL payments so you can land them, continue to recruit your own players. and make sure they're getting NIL payments lined up to keep them happy.
