General Update
We head over to Rome this weekend for the first post winter training meet, but we found out some really unfortunate news for the team. As you're probably aware winter training is the most rigorous part of the season for college swimmers. There are no meets and the team ramps up the effort significantly to get in peak shape before the conference championship. Well, half of the Berry team has the flu. Apparently, one of the guys got sick right before coming back, gave it to his girlfriend (also a swimmer), who got sick during the winter training, and gave it to everyone else. This basically undoes all the hard work, as the swimmers have to rest to get well.
So far Bear hasn't gotten sick - saying my prayers that continues.
Man what a lousy final season Bear has had to deal with.
