You may have already heard about a security threat to the Jewish community labeled as a "Day of Hate" and set to occur this Saturday, February 25. The threat is a call for acts of vandalism which can be recorded and posted on social media. Law enforcement and Jewish organizations have been tracking this threat as it circulated on the internet in past weeks.

The threats are undefined and have no specific targets. As such, law enforcement throughout the metropolitan area recommend heightened vigilance. Additionally, the XXXXX Police Department is adding regular patrols to visit synagogues in the community on Saturday.

As always, our armed security team will be in place for all of this weekend's events, including Shabbat, Torah Study, and Family School.

Our staff, private guards, and local police force take the security of our community very seriously. You can help, too. If you see anything or anyone suspicious, don't hesitate to let our staff, clergy, or security guards know.
