We are doing our first ever trip this summer to Spain through my son's club team. I'm taking the whole family over, as I'll likely never have another good reason to do something like this. The kids are old enough to at least remember it, if not enjoy it. Having said, that, it is definitely costing us a pretty penny, but not too far off of the approximate $5K per that you posted above so thats good to know.
