Otis wasn't expected to take the world by storm when we recruited him. However, he was very quick for a big, and his athleticism enabled him to play as a "small" forward and get him onto the court as a freshman.
The next year, he moved into the starting lineup, and earned an All-Patriot League selection. The arrival of
Todd DeHaven enabled us to shift Otis into a reserve role and, to his credit, he accepted it with class. He remained productive, and he was occasionally dominant; we suffered very little let-down when O entered the game.
Gregarious Otis will pursue a M.S. in Communications at Northwestern University.
