The camera cuts from the shocking events of Disco Inferno's heel turn to the ready-and-waiting Jerry Lynn, who's already in the ring, stretching his legs on the bottom rope and soaking in the cheers from the WCW faithful. His babyface demeanor is unmissable; the fans love him, and he loves them back.

Then, the notorious tune of Larry Zbyszko's entrance theme hits, and the Living Legend himself walks out. He wears a smug grin on his face, looking around disdainfully at the crowd as he strides down the ramp. It's as if the sea of humanity disgusts him.

**The Beginning:**

The match kicks off with Zbyszko and Lynn locking horns, but Larry immediately uses his experience to transition into a wrist lock. Jerry flips and spins, using his agility to reverse it, but Zbyszko just smirks and grounds him with a textbook drop toe-hold. The crowd boos Zbyszko's every maneuver, fueling his ego as he taunts them back.

**The Middle:**

As the match progresses, Lynn starts gaining momentum. He lands a series of arm drags and a dropkick that gets the crowd roaring. He even manages to lock in a sleeper hold. But just when it seems like Lynn might secure the win, Zbyszko cleverly gets his foot on the ropes, forcing the break. The veteran follows up with a devastating knee lift and an elbow drop, asserting his dominance once again. Lynn rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but Zbyszko follows, slamming him into the steel barricade and rolling him back into the ring.

**The End:**

Both men are visibly exhausted but refuse to give in. Lynn lands a high crossbody, but Zbyszko rolls through for a near-fall. Frustrated, Lynn goes for a hurricanrana, but Zbyszko holds on and counters it into a powerbomb. Seizing the opportunity, he locks Lynn into his trademark submission move. Lynn struggles, reaches, but it's in vain. Finally, he has no choice but to tap out.

**Winner: Larry Zbyszko**

The crowd showers Zbyszko with boos as he stands tall in the ring, raising his arms in triumphant mockery. He relishes the jeers, exits the ring, and makes his way up the ramp, once again proving why he's called the "Living Legend." As for Jerry Lynn, he's left in the ring, clutching his lower back but still nodding to the audience, acknowledging their support despite the defeat. Tonight, experience triumphed over youth, but it's clear that the fight was one to remember.

Winner: Larry Zbyzsko
3.5*
