Been that way for a few years now iirc. Just so there's no confusion: Anybody can play immediately who orders at any time from now as that's still technically pre-ordering as the official Release is Nov 6. Calling it Early Access now but yeah, sort of a open beta that lets them get feedback to find a few of the rarer/less obvious issues a little bit sooner
