I agree that companies will try monetize AI with subscriptions. Having worked in the SaaS software world, I’ve seen real benefits over the old traditional on-premise model.
However, I do see healthy competition in generative AI so I’m good with paying a monthly fee if it is worthwhile to me. Come up with some smart, nice looking eyewear that gives me google maps and I’d pay for it.
