I hope it's just stepping down because he wants to try something new and not because he's upset with the direction of the franchise. Had my issues over the years with the game but it was an incredble accompishment by a guy who seemed to mostly develop this by himself early on.
Have a bad feeling we're going to shift to microtransaction casino style games instead of a sim. Hope I'm wrong though.
